Arrival in Angers

It's a beautiful day here in Angers and I have just arrived. My hosts, Michel and Annick Arnaud, are lovely and so is their home. Anne Lair gave me a walking tour around the city and we shared a few beverages on the terrace of a sidewalk cafe. The city is quite charming with it's centuries-old streets and architecture. At the same time it's very modern, and has many boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Off to bed for some well-earned sleep!
